50% of Americans don’t think higher gas prices makes Obama “happy”:

Fox polled registered voters on whether they believe the claim President Obama purposely wants higher gas prices, and gets an answer it wouldn’t expect — Americans aren’t buying conservative spin. Fifty percent said that price spikes make President Barack Obama “unhappy” “because the American people will suffer from the high cost of filling their tank,” while only 31 percent said the prices make him “happy.” The poll also finds that 58 percent of Americans think the economy has turned around, while 52 percent said the the Obama administration’s rejection of a Keystone XL permit is not responsible for higher prices.

This was actually asked in a poll and Americans did not respond the way Fox News wanted them to. What is the intersection of the 31% who watch Fox News and those who answered higher gas prices makes Obama happy?

Well, the trick is to keep asking until there’s one poll that shows Obama really wants gas prices to go up under his presidency cuz he’s so crazy that he thinks higher prices will help him during an election year. That’s what Saul Alinksy would’ve wanted, don’t you know?

60% of Americans trust Obama to make right decision on the future of Medicare & healthcare:

At least at this point in the still developing general election campaign, President Barack Obama is trusted by larger shares with the future of both Medicare and the ACA than any of his Republican challengers: roughly six in ten say they trust the President, compared to roughly four in ten who say they have at least some trust in Gov. Mitt Romney, Sen. Rick Santorum or Rep. Ron Paul, and three in ten who have at least some trust in former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Among independents, President Obama garners trust from higher shares than any of the Republican candidates on both Medicare and the ACA, with no GOP candidate in particular standing out.

Yeah, yeah - but thats only because America hasn’t tuned into $3 billion in ads from Karl Rove’s Superpac as well as from others such as Club For Growth, FreedomWorks, Americans For Prosperity, Cato, Americans for Freedom and fake studies from CEI, AEI, Heritage Institute, WSJ, Fox News, WaPo, and high-profile essays from idiots like Betsy McCaughey & Megan McArdle.

Also, too, freedoms.

Even as the debate rages, the basic policy retains majority support: six in ten (63 percent) Americans say they support the requirement that health plans include no‐cost birth control, while a third (33percent) oppose it.

Remember, it’s not about women, its about 50 year celibate men having the power to rule over our daughters lives and that’s more important than health concerns.

58% of Americans support Dems, POTUS on healthcare choices for America:

The survey, part of the organization’s monthly tracking poll, found support for the 2010 law split nearly evenly. Forty-two percent of the adults surveyed had a favorable view of the law, while 43 percent viewed it unfavorably.

But despite the continued lukewarm reception for the health care law generally, the survey found that the public still trusts President Obama to make the right decisions about the future of the law more than any of his Republican challengers. The survey shows that 58 percent trust the president, compared with between 33 and 43 percent for his challengers.

Go ahead, inspiration of Obamacare, run against it and make your case why your policies suck. And:

[Mitt] He will have a tough time making the case against health reform.

That’s the village thinks. I’m sure Mitt Romney will thread that needle with $2 billion in anonymous ads and Karl Rove’s excellent “Get Out the Block the Vote” voter suppression campaign.

62% of Massachusetts residents like their ObamneyCare:

The poll from WBUR, an NPR-affiliate in Boston, finds that 62 percent of Massachusetts residents support Romney’s law, while just 33 percent oppose it. Meanwhile, nearly 70 percent of respondents said they see Romney’s opposition to the Affordable Care Act as a political ploy

Massachussettians are smart folk!

Once Romney repeals ObamaCare and replaces with RomneyCare, the Heritage Institute & fellow wingnuts will vociferously support it, ‘cause, you know, its not the policy that matters, its who signed the bill into law.

52% of Americans think individual mandates are a good idea. Hey, its a good thing you guys got riled up by FreedomWorks and elected some stupid sonsofbitches to office then, isnt it?

A new CNN poll on the issue of health care reform finds that support for the law’s central and most controversial element, the individual health insurance mandate, has climbed into majority territory.

In the new poll, support for the individual mandate — requiring people to get health insurance — has climbed to 52%, with 47% opposed. When the last survey was taken in June, that a majority of 54% opposed it, with 44% in support.

Hey, I have a great idea. Lets read Betsy McCaughey bullcrap op-eds and SarahPalin’s tweets to decide that death panels are gonna get us because everyone has to buy insurance and elect morons like Allen West, k?

0.6% of South Carolinians think Obama is a Hindu. No, never mind that 30% of them believe Obama is a Muslim, 0.6% believe he is Hindu:

Who are these 0.6%? This is beyond awesome.

Dems want Obama to fight GOP, independents want Obama to challenge GOP. Hell, even GOP wants Obama to challenge GOP:

Obama should …

  • Go along with GOP more often 25% -4%
  • Challenge GOP more often       37% +10%
  • Is handling situation right        26% -8%
  • Don’t know                              13% +3%

So … Obama Halts EPA Regulation On Smog Standards

In a dramatic reversal, President Barack Obama on Friday scrubbed a clean-air regulation that aimed to reduce health-threatening smog, yielding to bitterly protesting businesses and congressional Republicans who complained the rule would kill jobs in America’s ailing economy.

Community organization is about giving in, after all. Wait, its about “giving” not “giving in”. Oh, well.

Only 30% of respondents in a Bloomberg poll said they are certain to vote for Mr. Obama:

Only 30 percent of respondents said they are certain to vote for the president and 36 percent said they definitely won’t. Among likely independent voters, only 23 percent said they will back his re-election, while 36 percent said they definitely will look for another candidate.

But:

49 percent of respondents said they’re worried about Republicans gaining control of the White House and Congress and following through on pledges to slash funding for benefit programs like Medicare and Medicaid, outnumbering the 40 percent who said they are concerned about another term for Obama and a continuation of current spending policies. Among independents, 47 percent said they are worried about a Republican takeover compared with 37 percent who are concerned about maintaining the status quo.

Race between GOP lite & GOP nuts. Maybe Mr. Obama should listen some more to Geithner and his drive to lower debt & put the American economy in the hands of the “free market”. Yeah, thats the ticket.
