The 112th Congress rode to office in 2010 on the biggest wave of unlimited, undisclosed corporate money that American politics has ever seen. That same Congress hit a historically low approval rating of 10 percent, Gallup reported this week.
This is awesome news for the tea party and freshman of 2010 because its never 10% who approve of House GOP or teanuts, its 90% who disapprove of that vague entity: “Congress”. Watch when Crossroads GPS, Americans For Prosperity and other fuckwad SuperPACs run ads touting the 10% approval rate and nicely wrap it around the necks of the House Dems (who are in the minority).
Because if there’s one thing that’s guaranteed in America, its the gullibility of independents & there slavish attraction to swift-boating-like politicking.
