43% of Americans said random people would do a better job than the current Congress, i.e. House GOP:
Forty-three percent of respondents said a group of random people selected from the phone book would do a better job addressing the nation’s problems than their current representatives. Thirty-eight percent of respondents disagreed and 19 percent weren’t sure
Of course, they’re talking about the generic “Congress” instead of pointing out that country was functioning well when we had Nancy Pelosi running the damn House (no shutdowns, no long whining sessions, bills passed in orderly fashion, and no spitting on members of the opposing party).
Sure, folks laugh about the ineffective Congress now, but wait for them to send more buffoons to DC once they get sucked in by wall to wall crazy ass ads from ClubForGrowth, Americans For Prosperity, Crossroads GPS, American Legislative Exchange Council, US Chamber of Commerce, Petersen Institute, American Majority, Americans for Tax Reform, Public Notice and supplemented with fake research from Galen, Mercatus, Atlas, Heritage, AEI, Cato, Competitive Enterprise Institute, Manhattan Institute, Sam Adams Alliance, Americans for Limited Government, State Policy Network, Family Media Center, Media Research Center, Center for Security Policy, Middle East Forum, ACT! For America
